Worked well on my mountain bike which has no seat stay mounts for a rear rack. Correct fit and resulted in a very solid rack installation. Excellent value -- far better results than any option using padded clamps for about the same price. Highly recommended if your bike has the necessary threaded holes just above the rear axle for the bottom side rack attachment (mine does). I still have this clamp on my bike, but I've since pulled off the rack. Not because there was any problem with the rack or its installation -- it was solid for the duration -- but because I learned I'm one of those that prefer to carry stuff in a backpack than on a rear rack. And if I ever need, I can re-install my rear rack in just a few minutes.
