This is the third phone holder I have owned and I have finally found a keeper. It holds the phone securely and my Galaxy S3 goes in and out easily. The first holder broke off its connection from the cradle to the stem mount when I hit a NYC pot hole. The second was very secure but I had real problems operating the buttons and viewing the screen through the plastic cover (and it wasn't water proof). With the Minoura, neither the buttons nor the screen are covered.
