My original aluminum clamp had an allen head screw that was too short, it stripped the first few threads on the clamp. I had to replace the screw with a longer bolt which was awkward and difficult to adjust. I ordered this to give quick adjustment capability and was pleasantly surprised. The new clamp is very strong and easy to use. Good product.
