I tried 3 other QR Clamps, each far less expensive. I returned all of them. They were truly junk. This product is of outstanding quality, in that it actually does what it's supposed to do: tightly clamp your seat post into the frame without having slippage. Jeez, what a concept, a product that does the job for which it was intended.I’ve found that if your bike post is a little loose, If you try to tighten this device hard enough to secure the pole, then when you try to operate the quick release, because the screw is screwed into far, it gets in the way of the quick release opening. But one simple workaround would be: remove the M5 x 30 mm screw and place an M5 x 25 mm screw. Then you can tighten it further without the screw getting in the way of the quick release.Locks the seatpost in place solidly and allows quick and easy adjustment. Perfect ultralight alternative to a dropper post for a long distance racing rig.Very solid and well made clamp. Works perfectly with my carbon fiber.I don't understand reviews claiming that the presence of an Allen bolt defeats the purpose of the quick release. It's actually great for the first adjustment because you can put the clamp in place, close the quick release and then tighten it up with an Allen key. After that you'll only need your fingers to lock/unlock the quick release, and it will be perfectly tensioned.Only complain: I ordered black and received blue. So, watch out for that, if you care. It's a seat clamp - I really didn't want to pay this much to replace a basic component like this, but I went through three lower priced options which all had fatal issues. Mostly to do with screws stripping (despite using torque wrench w correct Nm), inaccurate sizing, or straight up metal bending. Finally splashed out on this thing and it's great. Well made and holding my seat post right where it should be.I like to be able to adjust my seat quickly on the Fly pretty muchGood product well builtWhy waste $$$ on some over rated fancy dropper post when all you really need it to pick that seat up for the long trek to the next set of jumps! Old school as hell and chicks dig it!!
