These hose clamps are junk, I used them when I replaced small bypass hoses on a '99 Toyota Camry. When I tightened them to stop the leaks, the slotted bands literally stripped. This happened with every one I tried. I am a retired mechanic with over 35 years experience; I didn't overtighten them. To make matters worse, they are in an inaccessible area, so I had to remove parts to replace them. I ended up going to AutoZone and picked up some decent clamps that worked fine.
